The main fields are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stem cells in disease treatment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stem cells in cosmetics \/ aesthetics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stem cells in food products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stem cells in animal gene-transfer and conservation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>What kinds of jobs are available at the Institute?<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>Because the Institute\u2019s operations span research, training, production and services, there are many types of positions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University students can carry out undergraduate projects and short\u2010term internships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Postgraduate students (Master\u2019s, PhD)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Researchers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administrative staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sales staff, production staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technicians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>How can I conduct research at the Institute?<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>To conduct research at the Institute, please email <a href=\"mailto:contact@sci.edu.vn\">contact@sci.edu.vn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Does the Institute provide medical treatment?<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>The Institute itself does not perform medical examinations or treatments; however, the Institute has an extensive network of medical units and hospitals that use its technologies. When you contact us, we will advise you on reputable facilities where you can receive consultation and treatment.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Does the Institute offer Master\u2019s and PhD programs?<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>The Institute does not directly grant Master\u2019s or PhD degrees; however, it participates in training Master\u2019s and PhD students in several disciplines of the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. Students from other universities may also apply to conduct their Master\u2019s or PhD thesis research at the Institute.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Which majors can work at the Institute?<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>Graduates with Bachelor\u2019s, Master\u2019s, or Doctoral degrees in cell biology, molecular biology, or embryology can work as researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Graduates with a pharmaceutical diploma can work at the Production Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Graduates with an economics diploma can work as sales staff.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading alignwide\">Resources of VNUHCM-US Stem Cell Institute<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Stem Cell Institute is fully equipped with the infrastructure necessary for comprehensive development \u2014 from research and technology development to production and service implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>What techniques can the Institute perform?<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>The Institute is capable of conducting modern biomedical techniques at multiple levels &#8211; from molecular biology and cell biology to tissue and in vivo studies.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Does the Institute have an ISO 17025-certified laboratory?<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>The Institute has been supported by the World Bank through the FIRST project (Ministry of Science and Technology) to establish a Laboratory for Biological Activity Evaluation meeting ISO 17025 standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the first laboratory in Vietnam to use state-of-the-art techniques for automated and large-scale evaluation of the biological activity of substances.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Does the Institute have a production facility?<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>With funding from the World Bank through the FIRST project (Ministry of Science and Technology), the Institute has established a production workshop that meets GMP-WHO standards for several product lines developed and researched by the Institute.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n<details class=\"wp-block-details is-layout-flow wp-block-details-is-layout-flow\"><summary><strong>Does the Institute sell products?<\/strong><\/summary>\n<p>Yes. The Institute produces and sells products that are the outcomes of its research.
