This event marks an important milestone in the partnership between the two institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the aim of improving product and service quality, and of developing a high-quality workforce to support each other\u2019s operations, <strong>Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Phuc<\/strong> \u2014 Director of SCI \u2014 and <strong>Mr. Do Huu Duy<\/strong>, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DK Investment Joint Stock Company, together signed the Memorandum of Cooperation covering training linkage, research and development in stem cell technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the agreement, SCI will transfer technologies for <em>isolation, expansion, preservation, and activation of stem cells<\/em>; as well as technologies for analysis and quality evaluation of stem cells, to <strong>VNCORD-DK<\/strong>. In exchange, <strong>VNCORD-DK<\/strong> will provide <strong>tissue material<\/strong> to SCI to support the Institute\u2019s research and training activities. The two parties will jointly organize seminars, workshops, and training courses in stem cell science and its applications to support each other\u2019s professional activities and to serve the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Representatives from both sides attended the signing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For SCI:<\/strong> Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Phuc (Director), Prof. Vu Bich Ngoc (Head, Center for Innovation &amp; Experimental Production), Dr. Nguyen Truong Sinh (Head, Center for Research &amp; Development), M.Sc. Nguyen Trong Hoa (Head, Business Department), and all staff of the Institute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For VNCORD-DK:<\/strong> Attendees included Dr. Bich Chi Nguyen (Executive Director, VNCORD Tissue Bank Branch, DK Medical Joint Stock Co.), Dr. Bui Vo Minh Hoang (Head of Laboratory, VNCORD Tissue Bank), Dr. Nghiem Xuan Dat (Executive Director, VNCORD Tissue Bank), and other officers and staff of the company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The cooperation between SCI and VNCORD-DK carries great significance in the development of both institutions and contributes toward the mission of serving society more fully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We wish both sides continued success and growth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the morning of April 22, 2024, the VNUHCM\u2013US Stem Cell Institute (SCI) and VNCORD-DK Joint Stock Company officially held the ceremony to sign their cooperation agreement at the Institute.
