In 2013, he earned a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. Following his graduation, he commenced his research journey at the Lab of Stem Cell – Research and Application, University of Science – VNU-HCM, with a primary focus on mesenchymal stem cells, regenerative medicine, stem cell biology, and stem cell aging. From 2017 onwards, he contributed to the Stem Cell Institute at the University of Science – VNU-HCM. Throughout his career, he authored and co-authored numerous articles in esteemed journals like Advances in Experimental Medicine and Biology, Cell Tissue Bank, Minerva Biotechnology and Biomolecular Research, Biomedical Research and Therapy, among others. Between 2019 and 2020, he led a study as part of the FIRST-SCI project (Fostering Innovation through Research, Science, and Technology – Stem Cell Institute), sponsored by the World Bank. Notably, he achieved significant milestones in the development of mesenchymal stem cell culture medium. In 2021, he took the initiative to form a research team in cancer biology and embarked on a project centered around the immunosurveillance-escape strategies of breast cancer stem cells. During 2023, he served as a visiting researcher at Soragnilab, OHRC, UCLA, delving into the realm of 3D drug screening using an organoid model. Returning to the Stem Cell Institute, University of Science – VNU-HCM in 2024, he dedicated himself to completing his project on breast cancer stem cells.
